| Answers | | 1.How do I know these products really are fair trade? - Our products are only sourced from British Association of Fair Trade Shops BAFTS approved suppliers which has a strict set of criteria regarding the pay, working conditions, health and environment of the producers.
| | 2. How do I pay for my products? - You can pay by debit or credit card using a secure online system . This means that The Fair Trade Stand does not have access to any of your account information at any time. Simply click on "Pay by Debit/Credit Card" at the appropriate point in the order process and follow the instructions. If you have an account with PayPal you can use your own log-in ID. Payment by cheque. If you do not want to pay online, simply email us the details of your order including the item code(s), quantity and total amount. Remember to include your contact details and the correct delivery address. We will send an acknowledgment of your order confirming your order details and the delivery charge (see below). Send a cheque for the correct amount payable to "The Fair Trade Stand" to the address on the Contact Us page.. We will dispatch your goods once the cheque has been cleared. Please allow more time for delivery of your goods using this method of payment.
| | 3. Postage and packaging . The delivery charge is based on the total cost of the item(s) ordered. The current delivery charges (subject to change) are: £2.99 for items up to £10 and £4.99 for items up to £50. There is free delivery for items over £50. If you have special instructions for delivery of your item, or if you wish the item to be sent by Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery, please provide the information through our Contact Us link. We may have to add an extra charge for non-standard delivery.
| | 4. How long does it take to receive my goods?. We aim to dispatch your goods within forty-eight hours of receipt of payment. However, if an item is out of stock, this may take longer, so please allow up to 14 days for delivery. If you have special instructions for delivery of your item, or if you wish the item to be sent by Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery, please provide the information through our Contact Us link. We may have to add an extra charge for non-standard delivery.
| | 5.What happens if I change my mind after I receive my goods? If you are not happy with your purchase, please return it to us within seven days stating the reasons why you are dissatisfied and whether you wish to receive a replacement or a refund. Remember to include your customer number and date of purchase. |
6. What if I can't find the type of product I am looking for? If you have a particular item in mind, but cannot find it on our website, let us know what it is and we will do our best to find it for you. However, please bear in mind that not everything is available as a fair trade product (yet!). |
