About Us

The Fair Trade Stand was founded in 2005 by Carolyn Barker, with the support and help of family and friends. We have been involved in promoting fair trade for a number of years within our local community and education establishments and have seen a growing demand for fair trade products. We have responded to that demand by creating this website, enabling our customers to have instant access to fair trade products wherever you live.

We are based in Bolton, Greater Manchester.

Bolton is one of the first fair trade towns in the UK and has it's own fair trade website www.boltoncommunity.co.uk/boltonfairtrade  providing information on fair trade organisations and events in the Bolton area.
